The 1998 Power of the Force - Episode 1 Flashback Photo's Darth Vader includes a Lightsaber and Removable Cape. Vader has 10 points of articulation which are head, shoulders, elbows, wrist, waist, and hips. The sculpt looked great for 1998 and with 10 points of articulation you can pose him in many positions.
Variations. This figure shipped with the single and double black arrows on the Flashback Photo yellow pull tab, which can be seen on the figure's page.

I have had reports of The Return of the Jedi AT-AT showing up all across the USA at Toys R Us stores, which is great. But have collectors had enough of the AT-AT? This is the 3rd time Hasbro has repacked this set, and sure it has some slight changes, but are people buying it?
Most of the fellow collectors I communicate with, say their local stores has had 2 or more of these just sitting on the shelves for a couple weeks now. The same could be said for my local stores as well. Are people tired of the AT-AT or just waiting for a good sale? I guess we will have to wait and see.

The Power of the Force - Episode 1 Flashback Photo's Ben (Obi-Wan) Kenobi was released in 1998. Accessories included with Ben is just his trusty Lightsaber. What else does he need? He has 10 points of articulation which are head (yes his head actually turns), shoulders, elbows, wrist, waist, and hips. The sculpt looks pretty good overall, but his pre-posed legs makes it a bit hard to get him to stand correctly.
Variations. This figure shipped with the single and double black arrows on the Flashback Photo yellow pull tab, which can be seen on the figure's page.

Emperor Palpatine is from the 1998 Power of the Force - Episode 1 Flashback Photo Toy Line. He has 5 point of articulation which are shoulders, waist, and hips. He includes 2 Force Lightning Effects, which can be attached to his arms. This figure is sculpted in a Force Lightning attack pose, and looks pretty awesome with his Force Lightning attached.
Variations. Just like all the 1998 Flashback figures, he was shipped with the single and double black arrows on the Flashback Photo yellow pull tab. Be sure to check out all the new HD Photos.

The 1998 Power of the Force - Episode 1 Flashback Photo's Princess Leia in Ceremonial Dress figure includes a Medal of Honor and a Removable Cape. She has 6 points of articulation which are head, waist, shoulders, and hips. The sculpt is not to bad for its age. One issue with this figure is she will not stand very well due to her plastic skirt limiting her leg movement, she always wants to tip over, even without her cape on.
Variations. This figure shipped with the single and double black arrows on the Flashback Photo yellow pull tab. Enjoy all the new HD Photos.

Another revisit to our Power of the Force Episode 1 Flashback Photo HD Photo Gallery today. Uploaded are all new HD Photos of the C-3PO figure. He does not include any accessories, but he does have a removable left arm. C-3PO has 5 points of articulation, which is his shoulders, hips, head, and waist. His waist barely moves though, due to his torso rubbing on his waist and if you force it, it may damage his upper torso.
Variations. I have 4 of these figures carded, all with different date stamps. I noticed as the date stamps got newer, C-3PO's dirt paint application got dirtier. It may just be a coincidence, but I posted a few photos on the figures page.

Today's Revisit is the 1998 Power of the Force Episode 1 Flashback Photo's Luke Skywalker figure. He includes a Blaster Rifle, Hat, and Electrobinoculars. He has 10 points of articulation which is Head, waist, shoulders, elbows, wrists, and hips. Not bad for 1998.
Variations. Luke was packaged with a Flashback Photo with single and double black arrows on the yellow pull tab, as we explained earlier. These variations can be seen on the figure's page.

Uploaded to our Power of the Force - Episode 1 Flashback Photo HD Photo Gallery are all new photos of the Hoth Chewbacca figure. He includes his trademark Bowcaster and has 6 points of articulation. I mention 6 points because his head does turn a little bit. Chewy was sculpted and painted as he just came out of a snow storm.
Variations. There is 2 of them and it has to do with the Flashback Photo itself. Hasbro first printed black arrows on the front and back of the yellow pull tab of the Flashback Photo. They then decided to remove the black arrow on the back of the yellow pull tab. These variations can be seen on the figure's page.

Since finishing the revisit of the 2002 Attack of the Clones Sneak preview figures, I have moved on to The Power of the Force Episode 1 Flashback Photo Gallery These figures were available from 1998 - 1999. The first figure to be Revisited is Anakin Skywalker. He includes a Lightsaber and has 6 points of articulation. This sculpt of Anakin was inspired by the Spirt of Anakin Skywalker, that was seen at the end of Return of the Jedi.
