For the variant hunters out there, reader "Tim" has made us aware of a variant on the Celebration Exclusive Black Series 6" 40th Anniversary Luke Skywalker X-Wing Pilot figure and and it has to do with his right boot.

One version has no "CE" logo on his boot, while one does. Both cards share the same date stamp of 70811. I believe the non "CE" logo version was first since The original 2013 Black Series 6" #01 Luke Skywalker X-Wing Pilot figure did not have a "CE" logo on his right boot.

Since Hasbro was going to offer this Exclusive figure in European Countries as well, I am assuming that Hasbro noticed that the figure did not have the "CE" Logo which is required on toys sold in Europe to show that they meet the European Toy Safety Directive (TSD) requirements, so Hasbro added the logo later on in production of the figure to be in compliance.

Luckily I had one of each of the variants that I purchased from HasbroToyshop, so I took a comparison photo to show the differences. if you can't see the popup image well, check out our Facebook Page.

Update: I decided to take another look at this today and realized with a high powered flash that this is not a variant and just a assembly error. The boot showing the "CE" on the front was actually put together backwards and the "CE" should face the back of the figure and not the front. This error can be fixed very easy if you decide to open it and spin his boot around 180 degrees.
