Disney has finally jumped on the Ultra HD 4K Bandwagon and we will see their very first Ultra HD 4K release tomorrow, which is Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and then on 10/3/17 its going to be Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

So what does this mean for Star Wars films and other Disney movies of past and future? Well now that 4K has become more mainstream, there are "possibilities" that Disney will be re-releasing some previous movies to take advantage of Ultra HD 4K's resolution, audio, HDR, and etc.

I just want to point out that there has been nothing Officially announced as of yet on 4K Re-releases, but one would assume its pretty much a no brainer for Disney. Guess time will tell.
