I stopped by one of my local Houston Walmart stores today and found that they have started setting up this year’s “The Collector Spot” display in the toy department.
The display was still a work in progress, with only two of the four sides currently stocked. One entire end was dedicated to Star Wars, while another side featured Marvel, Transformers, and G.I. Joe collectibles. The remaining sections were still empty and didn’t have shelf tags in place yet.
As for Star Wars, the store had stocked several of Walmart’s newer exclusive The Black Series releases. There were also a number of empty shelf tags for upcoming The Vintage Collection figures and other Star Wars products that either haven’t arrived yet or haven’t been put out for sale.
It looks like Walmart is just beginning to roll out and stock these 2026 Collector Spot displays, so be sure to keep an eye out at your local stores over the next few weeks. There could be plenty more products on the way as the displays continue to fill up.
