Had some time to try out the new Oculus Quest VR Headset and played Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series- Episode I over the weekend and have to say I am very amazed and impressed. This VR Series really immerses you in the Star Wars Universe and is just awesome. The only complaint is if you play straight through, the gameplay is only about 45 minutes, but this is only Episode 1 and more are to follow. The Game itself is only $9.99 and the Oculus Quest VR Headset is $399.99 (64GB) and $499.99 (128GB) at most major retailers.
Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series- Episode I is exclusive to Oculus and was a launch title for Oculus Quest. It will be released at a later date for those that own a Oculus Rift.
As for the Oculus Quest VR Headset, the screen resolution and graphics that it puts out are much higher than my PSVR. Not to mention I can play anywhere I want since its 100% wireless and I am not required to be tethered to any console and don't have to set up any additional cameras or sensors in the room to play. Its truly 100% wireless (unless you are charging the headset).
Not to sure how the Oculus Quest compares to a PC (Windows Machine) with a Oculus Rift or HTC Vive, since I am a Mac user though. But after using the Oculus Quest and having the freedom of being 100% wireless, I don't think I would buy a PC and tethered VR headset even if the graphics / resolutions were higher. The Oculus Quest is just so hassle free.
