We Ask Hasbro What Happen To The Second Set Of Retro Collection Star Wars: A New Hope Multipack That Was Announced At SDCC?

Press Release 2022 SDCC Reveals - Retro Collection Star Wars: A New Hope Multipack

Some of our readers have been asking us what happen to the second set of the Retro Collection 3.75-Inch Star Wars: A New Hope Collectible Multipack that was announced back at the 2022 San Diego Comic-Con. This set includes six figures, which are C-3PO, R2-D2, Ben (Obi-Wan) Kenobi, Death Squad Commander, Jawa and a Tusken Raider.

We did receive a Press Release and Press Photos which we posted back on July 22, 2022. But some details were excluded from the Press Release such as when can we preorder or buy it, release date, and is it an Exclusive?

So we reached out to our Hasbro contacts and asked the status of this product and also asked another question, which we knew they more than likely would not answer.

Q1). When will this product be available for preorder or for purchase?

Answer – Hasbro:

Still being determined.

Q2). We assume this will be an Exclusive can you confirm?

Answer – Hasbro:

Hasbro Pulse and Disney

Q3). Also any chance of a 12 figure display stand with backdrop, just like the original from the 1970s?

Answer – Hasbro:

We can’t comment on anything that’s not been revealed.

So unfortunately besides Hasbro confirming its a Hasbro Pulse and Disney Exclusive, thats all the details they revealed.
